SAI DAENG BEACH (KOH TAO)

SAI DAENG BEACH (KOH TAO)

A VERY QUIET, OUT OF THE WAY BEACH WITH A WELL PRESERVED CORAL REEF.

It has a great view of Shark Island and is a good place to see the "Golden Shark Island" phenomenon which occasionally happens just before sunset depending on weather conditions and cloud cover. The roads to this beach have been blocked, so visitors must pass through the resort here to access it. Visitors are welcome and there is no charge. From here you can also get to another secluded bay called HIN NGAM on the east side of SAI DAENG BEACH. This bay is a rocky cliff covered with grasses and scrubby undergrowth. Snorkelling here is also very good with giant boulders along the coast making interestin fromations underwater....Koh Tao Perfect blog

Road access: Good condition concrete road, but steep at the end.
